Update on Updates – Plans over Winter – Nov 22 2020 Since the beginning of our crowdfunding, eighteen months ago, we have reported to our backers on a weekly basis. Now that we are into the marketing and sales cycle, we need all hands on deck to turn prospects into leads and leads into customers. To do this, we are conducting more webinars, making more telephone calls, sending more Infusionsoft campaign emails, and dealing with many more customer service calls. This word can be sounded out. The Current Situation     The product is performing well, is getting good reviews and is gradually becoming noticed. To further all of these efforts, we have scheduled 7 new webinars! Our 3 webinars attracted just under 1000 registrants. To maintain all of this activity, I am going to send out an update every two weeks instead of weekly. If something significant occurs, I will send a special update. The holiday season is upon us and this is our traditional “slow” sales cycle. It will pick up again in mid-January. Development     Andrew is completing the last 10 lessons to complete Level 1. He has been able to keep in front of even our most determined users and will finish before anyone reaches him. This has been a gargantuan task, with endless repetition of the same critical steps. Andrew has worked like a canal horse with a careful, diligent pace. On a technical level, with some guidance from Nesda, he is the reason for our success. Marketing     Now we turn to marketing and to the enormous task of breaking out of the pack to create, manage and maintain sales. Mark is conquering Infusionsoft and gaining ground. It is simply a matter of time and effort to replace the cash required for a successful marketing campaign. We did it with the development and now we get to do it all over again with the marketing. We are ready. The NOLA and Dr. Dot Projects  The first NOLA charter school will get its software in the coming week. Two other schools have shown an interest. Rotary’s Wilf Wilkinson and Brian Hall will continue their efforts to add schools. Like the charter school project, we expect to launch Will Burrow’s teacher subsidy offer in January. This should open the schoolhouse doors. Let’s put this educational tool in the hands of teachers!! Consulting I am busier now, since we are trying to make up the financial shortfall in current sales with my consulting to practitioners. This adds hours, but I feel good about helping these clinicians to help kids. I do not know what we would do without Zoom and its flexibility. It is also giving us additional exposure in the autism community. The Pandemic We all need to be expertly aware of the pandemic we are fighting. Make sure that you are following and demonstrating to others the “best practices” of public health despite the pain and loneliness it causes. Be safe. Stay home, wash your hands, keep apart at least 6 feet from friends and neighbors, wear a mask. We do not want to lose a single backer. We want you around to celebrate our ultimate success when the one millionth reader crosses the finish line. Respectfully, Michael
